  • Outlier/Scale: Not as many roles as Mercor or Alignerr, but still a decent variety. The highest-paying Scale AI training jobs for coders that I see at the moment offer $50 per hour, but it’s worth noting that Outlier also offers nice incentives in the form of missions from time to time (the platform’s version of surge pricing). 
  • Micro1: Plenty of roles across various software engineering subfields, but often difficult to land one due to strict standards. Some users online have reported technical issues that prevented them from completing their interviews. That was months ago, however, so the issue might have been fixed by now. 
  • Mindrift: Very selective application process and only a handful of roles, but worth it if you can get in. The hourly pay rate for coding projects on Mindrift ranges from about $32 to over $90 per hour.
